As I have yet to experience circumstances under which I would consider Dr. Chilton's behavior towards me to be "fond."

He called you extraordinary.

You have mistaken clinical interest for something resembling affection.
The man views me as a subject and a little else.

I'm inclined to believe that he puts a little too much of himself into what he does.

He has very little else.

Because of that, there's a lot of victims in this, aren't there?
